At the rear of the monumental farmhouse lies The Byre. Here too, the reconstruction follows the original main form, supplemented with new openings, generous windows, and large glass sliding doors. The same refined aluminium detailing as used for The Homestead creates a subtle sense of cohesion. The expansive glazing connects the residence with the extensive garden and the polder landscape, allowing indoors and outdoors to flow seamlessly into one another and giving the interior a light, serene atmosphere.
