The municipality may grant an exemption in exceptional cases, such as death, divorce, job relocation or health-related circumstances. - For a period of 10 years after completion, the apartments must remain available to the designated target group. This means: - Resale prices are capped. - The owner-occupancy requirement must be passed on to the next buyer (again for 3 years). - The specified units may only be resold to buyers who meet the applicable income criteria. - Maximum resale prices are indexed annually (CPI for the specified units and the NHG limit for the remaining apartments). - Any resale within the 10-year period must be reported to the municipality and will be checked for compliance. - Failure to comply may result in a penalty.
