Description

Escape the noise of city life and embrace simplicity with this handcrafted Bowtop Tiny House – a rare gem located just outside Amsterdam. The “Winter Edition” offers cozy and sustainable living year-round, with thoughtful materials, efficient insulation, and undeniable charm. LOCATION AND ACCESSIBILITY This unique Bowtop is located in the greater Amsterdam region, providing excellent accessibility by both car and public transportation. Major highways such as the A1, A10, and A2 are within close reach, offering direct routes to Amsterdam city center, Schiphol Airport, and other parts of the Netherlands. Train and bus connections make this area ideal for both weekend retreats and longer stays. Nearby, you’ll find recreational areas like Diemerbos forest, the IJmeer lake, and Waterland’s protected nature reserves – all perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. If the Bowtop is located within a holiday park or private grounds, it may offer shared amenities like showers, a playground, or small cafés. These features make it especially attractive for tourists looking for unique accommodations close to the city yet surrounded by nature. THE BOWTOP – DESIGNED FOR COMFORT AND NATURE This mobile tiny house is built on an RDW-certified 1500 kg trailer with a Dutch license plate. The insulated wooden floor, Douglas fir construction, and aluminum roofing create a solid and weatherproof exterior. Inside, the space is insulated with ecological sheep’s wool and heated by an electric heater. The interior layout includes a new 2-seater sofa bed (140 x 188 cm), a fixed two-person dining table, and a fully equipped kitchenette with an induction hob, fridge, and water boiler. Five windows – including three charming round ones – and a traditional Dutch door with stained double glazing let in ample light and fresh air. Though the plot is not included but the walls are finished in pinewood paneling, and all woodwork inside and out has been triple coated for longevity. Stabilizing legs and an exterior step provide safe and easy access. With its thoughtful craftsmanship and natural aesthetic, this Bowtop is a rare opportunity for anyone dreaming of a minimalist, mobile lifestyle close to Amsterdam.
