From the get-go, Marjolein has been so professional and helpful. During the viewings and outside of them, she was excellent with her advice and expertise. She would always make herself available through the phone or WhatsApp, even during the evenings and the weekends. It always felt like she had my back.

Marjolein handled the full buying process from beginning to end, and made the process very easy and seamless for us. We found and bid on our new home within 6 weeks of starting the process with Estatum, which was much quicker than we initially expected. The final bid we made with Marjolein was just below the house valuation price, so the full value of the house was covered by the mortgage, which we were extremely happy with. The price for the quality of the service was very fair. We paid extra for unlimited viewings because we expected it to take longer than it did, but ended up finding a house within 6 viewings. So I would recommend to go with the lower tier service and buy additional viewings as required. Communication could have been better, sometimes responses via email were delayed, or there were misunderstandings. But overall, Marjolein was able to fully communicate with us and explain everything in English, and even helped us translate the house-related documents from Dutch. Although Marjolein was very knowledgeable in the house buying process, we also excepted a higher level of expertise in her knowledge of the local housing market in Almere, but this seemed to be lacking. Sometimes we felt in the dark in terms of not knowing what bid we should go with, and the suggestions we received were a large range of values. However, Marjolein also shared current market reports from the housing database, which gave us a better idea for the bid. Also, she was always available to discuss the strategy, bidding amount, and any changes in the negotiation. Overall, we were very happy with our purchase and the help from Estatum. Being new to the house buying process, Marjolein made everything clear and answered any questions we had along the way. She handled all communication with other parties professionally and all necessary arrangements were made on time and without our involvement.

De makelaar was op elke dag te bereiken. Ze ging mee naar verschillende bezichtigingen en was erg realistisch over de woningen. Ook de gebreken van een woning werden aangewezen. Er werd altijd goed onderzoek gedaan naar VVE's en andere zaken. Ook keek ze goed mee naar een eventueel bod en de hoogte daarvan. De makelaar wil echt dat het huis goed bij jou past en probeert je niet een huis in de schoenen te schuiven.
