Buying an apartment in Amsterdam was not easy in 2024, but it was doable, thanks in large part to VK Makelaars&Taxateurs. Sander did a great job explaining the upsides and downsides of the apartments we viewed. He did a great job with the bidding; he very accurately computed with how much I should bid so as to secure a good outcome without overbidding. For me, as an expat, I was confused by all of the paperwork, erfpacht information and the Amsterdam housing market in general.
