Aalsmeer is easy to drive to and there are good public transport connections (express bus R-net) to Schiphol and Hoofddorp (both NS stations), Haarlem, Amsterdam and Utrecht. Schiphol is only ten minutes away by car, you can get there in fifteen minutes by bus. The center of Amsterdam can be reached within half an hour.
