Description

Unique "one of a kind" bungalow with a stately appearance. Situated on a spacious plot of private land of over 2,500 m² with lots of greenery and water. With a detached double garage with two overhead doors and a guest house. Location - Ribbon development of the Hornweg, with a large front garden with water feature - The shops at 'Poldermeesterplein' and 'Ophelialaan' are within cycling distance Sustainability - The house has energy label C - Improving the label is relatively easy - Schiphol Airport has provided the house with acoustic glazing - Tonzon Floor Insulation has been applied in the crawl space - The central heating boiler was installed in 2016 Good to know - The bungalow has a living area of 245 m² and the guest house in the garage is 44 m² - There is a mutual right of way with Hornweg 128, the path is wide enough and this does not cause any nuisance - Around 2008, the bungalow was internally modernized. For example, the walls and ceilings were largely plastered, a new kitchen was installed and the bathroom was expanded and renewed - The exterior painting was done two years ago - An asbestos clause, old-age clause and a non-self-occupancy clause are included in the purchase agreement The house The entrance to the bungalow is on the side. From here you step into the spacious hall which functions as a beautiful center of the bungalow, with the large skylight as an absolute eye-catcher. At the front is the living room with a modern open kitchen. A wonderful space where several corners with different functions can be created. A nice detail is the lowered window that offers a view over the green front garden, a water feature and the Hornweg. The semi-circular designer kitchen is neatly maintained and features a triple sink, one with a Quooker tap, a wine climate cabinet, oven and steam oven, dishwasher, 4-burner induction hob with extractor hood and a freestanding American fridge-freezer. From the large central hall, the five (bed)rooms and the bathroom are accessible. The bathroom was expanded and renewed a few years ago. The bathroom is finished to a high standard and feels like a luxury Wellness. There is a toilet, a bidet, washbasin with double sink, a freestanding bath with bubble function and a shower/steam cabin. The bathroom is accessible from both the hall and the master bedroom. All five rooms are well sized and all have built-in wardrobes. In one of the rooms, it was chosen to place a second shower with connections for the washing machine next to it. Finally, the house has a separate toilet with a sink and a storage cupboard containing the central heating boiler. Garage and guest house Behind the house is a large, detached shed/double garage of over 100m². There is a pedestrian door on the side and there are also two manually operated overhead doors. On the garden side of the garage, a practical guest house has been made with a bathroom with shower and toilet, a living room with an open kitchen and French doors to the garden and a bedroom. Garden The large garden is full of beautiful, large trees, has several terraces adjacent to the house and offers places with optimal privacy. The back garden faces south/east, the garden adjacent to the living room has a patio-like appearance and faces south/west, as does the garden adjacent to the guest house. Aalsmeer Aalsmeer is a bustling village and has a convenient location in the Randstad. Arterial roads are always close by, so the center of Amsterdam can be reached within half an hour. Schiphol Airport and the Amstelveen shopping center are also about 15 minutes away by car. The Hornweg has a separate cycle path and the shops in both the Ophelialaan in Aalsmeer-Zuid and the shops in Aalsmeer-Centrum, as well as the shops on Poldermeesterplein in Aalsmeer Nieuw-Oosteinde are easily accessible by bicycle. A large bus station is no more than ten minutes by bike with direct connections to Hoofddorp NS Station, a direct bus connection to Haarlem, Utrecht and Amsterdam and a few bus stops from the express tram connection in Uithoorn to Amsterdam Station-Zuid. The Schiphol Circle Line is 3 stops away. The Westeinderplassen form a unique nature and recreation area. Relatively unknown in the Randstad, but a fantastic area for connoisseurs. The Westeinder beach is also along the Westeinder (cycling distance). Aalsmeer has an active community life in many areas, has many catering establishments and of course marinas that are mainly located along the Uiterweg. Amstelveen and Amsterdam are a short distance away and can also be reached by bicycle, as can the Amsterdamse Bos. There are several primary schools a short distance away and secondary schools in Aalsmeer, Amstelveen, Hoofddorp and Uithoorn are all within cycling distance.
