Personal note:
Our family has loved our time here at Burgemeester Haspelslaan 342. The neighborhood is friendly and full of kids. Our kids have enjoyed the independence of cycling to school (only 8 minutes away), meeting up with friends in the park nearby to play football, and down at the Stadshart mall, just a 10 minute walk from the house. On Halloween there is a neighborhood group that coordinates trick or treating. We are also just a 10 minute cycle to the Amsterdamse Bos, where there are great walking /running trails, and an excellent place for dog walks. Having the 5 tram just a short walk away makes it easy and convenient to go into the city. We work in Zuidas and our commute is just 15 minutes cycling or via the tram. This spring we fully remodeled the kitchen, which was both a big undertaking and also very rewarding. We have loved hosting friends and gatherings here, and bbq’ing in the backyard. We hope you will love this little slice of heaven in beautiful Amstelveen just as much as we have!
