For your daily shopping you can go to the Postjesweg or Kinkerstraat. The Ten Kate market is nearby and the many nice stores on the Jan Pieter Heijestraat. Near De Hallen you can go for a snack and drink in the Foodhallen or catch a movie at the Filmhallen. For greenery, the Rembrandtpark is nearby but the Vondelpark is not far either.
Parking permit & OV
Regarding parking, there is a permit area West 1.1 that allows you to park throughout West 1. There is a good connection to the A10 via Hoofdweg.
Streetcar 7 and 17 and bus N83 have a stop on the Witte de Withstraat. Streetcar 13 has a stop on the Jan Evertsenstraat.
