With a few minutes cycling you are in the cozy shopping center Boven 't IJ where you can go for an afternoon of shopping, a nice lunch or diner and watch a movie in the cinema.
Accessibility:
Public transport is also well organized here. The nearest bus stop is literally around the corner and in just over fifteen minutes you are at Central Station via the North/South line. Or you can cycle from home to the ferry in fifteen minutes to go to the city centre. Are you travelling by car? Then you can be on the Ring A10 within 5 minutes. You can park your car in front of the door. There is usually sufficient parking space. However, you do need a permit for this. There is currently no waiting list for obtaining a permit.
