A great place to relax, walk or run or enjoy a nice terrace by the water. The beaches at the Nieuwe Meer and the Oeverlanden can also be reached by bike. By bike, bus, tram or car you can reach the heart of Amsterdam in about 25 minutes. Schiphol is also very easy to reach by public transport or car and you have your own parking space in front of the door.

In the coming years, the municipality will be working hard on the renewal plan for the neighbourhood in collaboration with Stadgenoot and local residents, in which homes and public space will be renovated and redesigned, with respect for the cultural-historical value of the area and with attention to greenery, art, sports, games and sustainability.
