Welcome to the Eemsstraat 76 house
Welcome to our home, where we have lived with great pleasure for the past 15 years. We bought this as a young working couple, and it offered us enough space when we had children. We continued living here because it is spacious and cozy at the same time.
The house is situated slightly above street level, and you have an unobstructed view of all the greenery of the park from your own sofa. The morning sun shines at the front, where we enjoy drinking coffee on the bench.
At the end of the day, the sun is in the garden and on the balcony just when you come home and want to relax for a moment before evening begins. The bedrooms on the ground floor always stay cool in the summer, allowing you to sleep soundly.
In the winter, the house is very bright due to the large windows. But it is especially nice to light a fire in the working fireplace. We have made the garden accessible from both floors, so we can always go outside.
Families, expats, and young working people live in the neighborhood, and there is still a lot of social housing. As a result, the neighborhood is very diverse and lively. We now have children who attend school nearby and play all over the area. There is a wide choice of schools close by, so all the friends are nearby, as are the children's sports and hobby clubs.
There are many restaurants and cafes in the streets around us. Every cuisine and taste is represented. Additionally, there are regular events in the park, ranging from birthdays to the Parade. There are also many sports facilities set up for adults, both indoors and outdoors. Everything for yourself and for children can be found within walking distance.
If you want to go to another city, you can be on your way within 10 minutes by car or public transport. The highway is easily accessible, while traffic is quiet on our own street. At the same time, you can reach the city center within 15 minutes by bike or public transport.
