The seller says
We’ve lived in this lovely house on Iepenweg for over five years; first just the two of us, and for the past few months with our daughter. So this will always remain a special place for us.
The living room, with its open-plan kitchen and door leading onto the balcony, creates a spacious feel. This balcony is ideal for a cup of coffee in the morning sun or an after-dinner drink whilst enjoying the view of the green and cosy Iepenplein. Thanks to the house’s corner location and the many windows, it is wonderfully light, yet it stays cool in summer due to its north-east facing position. The bedroom is spacious, with access to a balcony where you can lie in the sun, sheltered from the wind. In addition, the second floor has a large second room, which we initially used as a home office and study, and now as a nursery. The communal courtyard garden features a treehouse and a picnic table, and enjoys plenty of sunshine.
First and foremost, the house is close to the many amenities on Eerste Oosterparkstraat and the lively Beukenplein. The Oosterpark, the Amstel, the Oostpoort and the Albert Cuyp Market are all within walking distance. Accessibility is excellent thanks to the Wibautstraat metro station, just a few minutes’ walk away; you can reach Amstel, Zuid or Centraal stations in no time. You can also reach the ring road within 7 minutes.
We get on very well with our neighbours and, over the years, have built up a good relationship with the other residents in the owners’ association. We are leaving this lovely house because we have found our dream home in Weesp sooner than expected, which suits us in the long term. However, we are going to miss this house and this neighbourhood enormously, and we hope that the new residents will enjoy living here just as much as we have!
