On KNSM-Laan there are many beautiful (interior) shops, including "Sissy Boy", Pols Potten and galleries. Every Wednesday there is an organic market in the Eastern Docklands. There are also several schools, childcare centres, sports facilities and, for water sports enthusiasts, a marina and a sailing school nearby. By car you can reach the A10 Ring Road within a few minutes via the IJ Tunnel or Piet Hein Tunnel. Parking is almost always available directly in front of the building, and parking spaces are also available for rent through Stadsgenoot in the underground parking garage beneath the complex. You can also moor your own boat at the jetty.
