Eye-catcherHigh-end appartement met waanzinnig uitzicht op toplocatie!

Description

A high-end apartment with great attention to finish and detail, all in a prime location on Reguliersgracht! A lovely view of greenery and water. The rich history, the centuries-old buildings, the bridges, as well as the open spaces and greenery, make this a wonderful place to live. From the striking entrance hall, you take the lift or stairs to the second floor. The corner flat is situated on the canal side and boasts unrivalled views of the surroundings, with beautiful sunlight streaming in during the afternoon and evening. Famous restaurants and terraces are located in the vicinity of the flat. Amsterdam’s theatres (including Carré and the Stadsschouwburg) and the Concertgebouw are also within walking distance. Public transport links are also excellent here: with the North/South line and Weesperplein within walking distance, combined with the many trams, access to other areas within and outside the city is very good. Layout: Striking entrance hall with staircase and lift. The flat is on the second floor. You are immediately greeted by a sense of light and space. Spacious hall with a very spacious and practical laundry and storage area (utility room), a second separate toilet and extra storage space for coats, for example. At the front is the living room with a semi-open kitchen and the dining room. The white kitchen with a high-quality worktop is fitted with built-in appliances and plenty of cupboard space. The gas hob has recently been replaced by an induction hob. The view from the living room across the canal and the city is truly sublime. The windows can be opened wide, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. The large windows allow plenty of natural light to flood in. At the rear of the flat are two spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom features plenty of built-in wardrobes. The second bedroom is ideal for use as a study or a guest room. Thanks to its corner position, it also offers a view of the canal! The hallway leads to the very luxurious and spacious bathroom, featuring Italian marble, a walk-in shower, a toilet and a natural stone washbasin. The apartment features beautiful oak flooring. The building The apartment complex was designed by Braaksma & Roos Architects in 1998. They drew inspiration from various features of Amsterdam’s city centre, resulting in a contemporary building that harmonises with its historic surroundings. The base is constructed from hardstone-coloured precast concrete. From this base, the brickwork rises up to the cornice, which is also made of hardstone-coloured concrete. A surprising detail is the frames around some of the window frames, which appear to be detached from the building. The striking roof structure consists of two semi-circular roofs with wooden cladding and a zinc screen. Another distinctive feature is the oval stairwell with a skylight. This lends the complex extra cachet. The surroundings The flat is situated on a romantic canal, surrounded by plenty of greenery, such as the wide green belt with mature trees just around the corner near Amstelveld and Utrechtsestraat. Residents are also in for a treat when it comes to dining, with several top-class restaurants nearby: Zoldering and De Juwelier have been awarded a coveted Michelin star, whilst Spectrum, the Waldorf’s restaurant, has received two. The central location also means that much of what Amsterdam has to offer culture and music lovers is within a short walk. From Carré, the Stopera, Pathé Tuschinski and the Concertgebouw to museums such as the Allard Pierson, the Rijksmuseum and the Hermitage. You can easily walk to the weekly local market in the Hermitage’s courtyard and the weekly Flower Market on the Amstelveld. Accessibility The location is easily accessible; there are various routes in and out of the city. Via Wibautstraat, the IJ Tunnel and the main roads to Utrecht and the Gooi are easily reached. Public transport stops on Utrechtsestraat and Weteringschans, and the North/South line on Vijzelgracht is less than a five-minute walk away.
