After living for over 10 years with great pleasure at Van Nijenrodeweg 724, I am saying goodbye with mixed feelings to my first wonderful home. It truly was my place, where everything came together: comfort, peace, and an ideal location. I built my life here in Amsterdam as a student and continued to live here for many more years.
What I will miss most is the perfect location on the first floor. No long stairs or elevators, just quick access in and out, while still enjoying a green view. The location is also fantastic: within minutes you're on the highway, at Station Zuid, or at the Gelderlandplein shopping center.
The large storage room was also a huge plus. Thanks to the windows, I had daylight in the space, allowing me to make the most of it. And not to mention, the quiet neighbors contributed to a pleasant living atmosphere, with good communication, and I never experienced any disturbances.
While I’m looking forward to my new home, I’m sure I will miss this place. I hope the next resident will enjoy it as much as I have.
