Technical aspects of the water villa
This is a water villa newly built in 2009, designed by Marc Visser of Architects and the detailing was done by Hendrik Hagedoorn Weerstand of VBH Architects.
The concrete shells (house and terrace) were built by Hercules Betoncasco, Emmeloord with their yard in Hardenberg.
The villa was completed at Urk by Bouwbedrijf Oost where the structure of the villa is a steel structure levelled at the dock in Hardenberg. The steel structure of the lower floor was hot-dip galvanised.
Electrical installation was made by Piet Brouwer Elektrotechniek and the W installations by Fien Installatiebedrijf.
The wooden curtain wall was supplied and fitted by Gevelplan
The closed facade cladding is by Norwegian company Steni
