The Zandvoortselaan makes the connection to Heemstede or Haarlem very easy and towards Zandvoort itself is a few minutes by car from here. In the summer you go of course by bike to the beach. Bentveld is a lovely friendly villa village, with many lovers of outdoor living, nature and the sea. The nice initiative of the joint picking garden for vegetables and herbs is within walking distance on the Bramenlaan. The Kennemer Golf Club is literally next door and the stables of the Naaldenhof are nearby. From here you can drive right into the dunes. In addition, the field hockey fields of Rood-Wit are also within 5 minutes cycling distance. The shopping street near the station of Heemstede-Aerdenhout is also nearby, with an AH, ice cream parlor Luciano, a fantastic organic butcher and of course the NS station. Sports fields and several good elementary school are all a short distance away.
And in 15 minutes by bike you are at the Grote Markt, with all its nice stores, restaurants and excellent secondary schools. Close to the city and close to the sea: best of both worlds.
