The Juliana van Stolberglaan (named after Juliana von Stolberg (1506–1580), the mother of Willem van Oranje) forms the central axis of the popular Bezuidenhout neighbourhood. The area has become a pleasant and sought-after residential district, partly thanks to its convenient location and the excellent amenities nearby. The lively Theresiastraat offers a rich mix of artisan shops, supermarkets and welcoming cafés and restaurants. In the other direction, the shopping centre ’t Kleine Loo provides all the shops needed for daily groceries, while both the centre of The Hague and The Mall of The Netherlands can easily be reached by bicycle. There is also plenty of green space in the vicinity, such as Haagse Bos. Furthermore, the accessibility of the neighbourhood is a significant advantage. There are excellent public transport connections, with The Hague Central Station and Den Haag Laan van NOI within short cycling distance and good bus and tram connections within walking distance. This section of the avenue features beautiful 1930s apartment entrances. The buildings are designed in the characteristic Hague School architectural style, with depth in the façade creating a playful effect. From the pavement, the open entrance porch leads to the landing with the private entrance.
