“With a lot of pleasure we have lived here and cared for our house with love. Not only the house itself, but also the garden and the neighborhood have brought us a lot. A special place where we have enjoyed for many years.
In 2012 our garden was transformed by the TV program Eigen Huis & Tuin into a true edible oasis. You can still pick raspberries and blackberries here in the summer, while the plum, apple and pear trees treat you to their fruit from the end of August. And in autumn the walnuts are a delicious bonus! Thanks to the sheltered corners, the garden is a nice place to be even on colder days. Although the shopping street is right behind the house, you hardly notice it in the garden. Only at New Year's Eve does the wind sometimes betray the smell of fresh oliebollen - a small, nostalgic reminder of the liveliness around the corner. The neighborhood is warm and friendly, with fine neighbors who are always there for each other. We hope that the new residents will find as much happiness and pleasure in living here as we did!”.
