The house
After parking the car, you walk through the charming courtyard to the front door of Schweitzerstraat 99. Here in the entrance of the house are the toilet, the meter cupboard, wardrobe and the access to the kitchen. The split-level layout provides a natural separation between the kitchen and the higher sitting area. The lower kitchen at the front is a wonderful place to cook, dine or have a drink with friends and family. The kitchen was renovated a few years ago and is equipped with all conveniences: plenty of storage space, a dishwasher, sink, fridge-freezer, second built-in freezer, oven and a 5-burner gas hob with extractor hood. The dining table also fits effortlessly here. Via a subtle elevation you reach the higher sitting area at the rear of the house. At the rear is a large window with a renewed frame, across the entire width of the room. From the sitting area you have direct access to the garden and the stairs to the first floor.
Originally, the house had four bedrooms and the bathroom on the first floor. However, the current owners have chosen to merge the two bedrooms located at the rear into one large 'master bedroom'. The other two bedrooms located on this floor are also of a pleasant size. The modern, indoor bathroom is located between the bedrooms and has a second toilet, washbasin, shower cubicle and separate bath. A laundry room is accessible from the landing with the connections for the washing machine and dryer.
The fourth bedroom of the house can be found on the attic floor. Furthermore, this floor has a built-in technical or storage space with, among other things, the (rental) boiler. Finally, this floor has a spacious roof terrace. Located on the sunny southwest and with a view of the shopping area of ??Kudelstaart
Garden
Not only is the house divided into split-level, but the same applies to the backyard. Several terraces have been created in the garden and is cozily decorated with a wood shed, wood stove and small canopy. From the beginning of the afternoon until the end of the day, the sun is on this side of the house. Therefore, there is also a sunshade. In the front garden there is a stone shed where, among other things, the bicycles can be stored.
Kudelstaart
Kudelstaart is one of the residential areas within the municipality of Aalsmeer. In the village you will find everything within cycling distance. Kudelstaart has an attractive shopping centre with a large supermarket and various specialty shops. At the unloading quay you can swim in the Westeinder in the summer, but within a fifteen minute bike ride you are also in Aalsmeer at the Westeinder beach. There are various catering establishments, there is a rich association life and the primary schools have an excellent reputation. There are plenty of sports facilities, including a roller skating track that, when it freezes, serves as an ice rink in the winter. Kudelstaart is located on the edge of the Green Heart of the Randstad. Yet Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Schiphol, Hoofddorp and Haarlem are only a short drive away. This makes Kudelstaart an attractive location to live. The comfort of a village but in the middle of the Randstad. Kudelstaart has childcare and various primary schools. For secondary school, the children cycle to Uithoorn, Aalsmeer, Hoofddorp or Amstelveen. Public transport is reasonable. There are two buses per hour to Amsterdam Station Zuid via the bus station of Aalsmeer (only a few stops away). From the bus station there are fast R-net connections to for example the NS station in Hoofddorp. Soon the fast tram line to Amsterdam will be opened at cycling distance in Uithoorn.
