Description
This incredibly charming, extra-wide (6.70 m), extended, and recently modernized single-family home of approx. 120 m² on a plot of 172 m² is GAS-FREE. The house features no fewer than 6 bedrooms and is located on one of the most popular streets in Nieuw-Vennep, just a few minutes' walk from the center. The backyard faces southwest and is beautifully landscaped. Parking is available in the immediate vicinity.
This is the ideal place for children: there is a green zone where they can play to their heart's content, and the playground and schoolyard can be reached without crossing any roads.
The home has an energy label A and there are 10 solar panels on the roof; in short, a fantastic opportunity!
Various amenities are within walking distance, including childcare, primary schools, sports clubs, the De Symfonie shopping center, and various cozy restaurants and cafes.
For recreation, you can visit De Venneperhout, just a 5-minute drive away. Here you can enjoy lovely walks and finish off with a bite to eat and a drink at the Venneper Lodge. Within a few minutes' cycling distance, you can reach the Nieuw-Vennep NS train station, with good connections to Hoofddorp, Schiphol, Amsterdam, Leiden, and Rotterdam, among others. The bus stop for R-net (bus 397), among others, is located in the Getsewoud neighborhood and is also accessible within a few minutes' cycling distance. This is a fast bus connection to Hoofddorp, among other places, from where there are excellent connections to public transport towards Amsterdam, Haarlem, and Schiphol. By car, you can reach the A4 and A44 motorways in a short time via the N207.
This high level of amenities makes it an ideal place to live.
The layout is as follows:
You reach the entrance to the home via the very deep, nicely landscaped front garden. The hall contains the meter cupboard (renewed 2020), equipped with 13 circuits, 3 residual current devices, and a fiber optic connection; the extra-spacious toilet room (2023) with a standing toilet and washbasin; and the bathroom (2023) with an extra-deep bathtub, vanity unit, second toilet, and underfloor heating. From the entrance hall, you reach the sitting room at the front of the house. At the rear is the U-shaped kitchen, renovated in 2020, equipped with, among other things, a fridge-freezer, extra freezer, convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, induction hob (4 burners), and a recirculating hood.
During the 2020 renovation, underfloor heating was installed in the living room, bathroom, and hallway, finished with a herringbone PVC floor. The walls are smoothly plastered.
Through the sliding doors in the kitchen, fitted with triple glazing, you reach the southwest-facing backyard. In the garden, there is a practical stone shed, currently housing the washing machine and dryer, and a back entrance. An electric awning with a projection of 5 meters has been installed on the rear facade. There is also an outdoor tap and a power socket.
Via the stairs in the entrance hall, you reach the first floor. Here you will find 4 bedrooms, built-in wardrobes, and low-temperature heating, including a deep cooling function, which resembles air conditioning in the summer; Lovely!
The bedrooms at the rear are also equipped with roller shutters, ensuring a nice dark night's sleep and helping to keep the heat out more effectively.
A riser pipe was already installed during the renovation, making it relatively easy to create an additional bathroom with a toilet on this floor or in the attic.
This floor is finished with laminate flooring and the walls are smoothly plastered.
The second floor is accessible via a fixed staircase. In 2025, the ridge was raised, creating significantly more space. Here, you will find 2 bedrooms, a landing, and a storage/technical room. The ridge raising created extra space not only in the bedrooms but also on the landing and in the storage room. Additionally, connections and drainage for the washing machine and dryer are present. The solar panel inverter is neatly concealed behind a knee wall. The window frames are fitted with insect screens, allowing the windows to be opened even in the summer without letting insects in. This floor is finished with PVC flooring. The dormer window at the rear is fitted with a screen. The home has an energy label A (valid until March 2036), features 10 solar panels, is gas-free, and is equipped with a very quiet heat pump in the extension. The first floor is heated by low-temperature heating and cooled via ‘deep cooling’. Sun protection is present at the rear: a sun awning on the ground floor, roller shutters on the first floor, and a screen on the second floor. The home features wooden (recently painted) and uPVC window frames with HR+, HR++, and partly triple glazing, a recently renewed uPVC front door with a wood grain finish, and both roof and cavity wall insulation.
A major plus is that a great deal of attention has been paid to noise reduction. For instance, one of the quietest heat pumps in the Netherlands has been installed in the extension, an extra-thick okoumé board has been fitted in the spot where the washing machine and dryer can be placed on the second floor, the intermediate floor between the first and second floors has been extra insulated, and the ventilation ducts are equipped with additional sound dampening.
