Description

Welcome to house the Bobbert. In 2002, this welcoming home, under architecture, was extended with a left and a right wing. The oldest part of this unique property dates back to 1900. The architect, oTTo van Dijk, has managed to harmoniously connect the old farmhouse and the new living areas both on the outside and on the inside. The sustainable materials used include: reed, African slate, zinc, plasterwork, Siberian larch, profiled glass, etc.. With these, many beautiful refined details have been created. The old farmhouse has been completely renovated and modernised apart from the original facades. The perception of the open polder landscape is clearly visible from the living spaces. There are many terraces/places to enjoy the sun and wind. A landscape architect has shaped the meadow through large areas of summer/field flowers. Foreword: This is a unique property of which you should definitely look at the photos before reading the text. Through these photos, you will experience the rich and understated atmosphere as a foretaste of a viewing. The text below outlines the layout but due to the multitude of special features, these have only been described to a limited extent. Layout: Entrance, Entrance, upon entering you experience how an aesthetically designed line of sight on the garden and the polder landscape behind creates a sense of space and light. We start with the right wing, here on the right is a generous cloakroom and the guest toilet with urinal and fixed washbasin. Through the wide living entrance, we first enter the spacious dining kitchen. The specially designed kitchen is finished in French oak with a top of honed Cesarstone composite. Here you will find a 150 cm wide AGA cooker. Behind the dining kitchen is the living room with stunning views of the open polder landscape. Among other things, this room has a 7-metre-high ceiling, a beautiful wood-burning stove, an understated bay window and a loft. As in the dining kitchen, two pieces of glass can be slid open to the garden. Back to the cloakroom, we take the stairs up. The end of the wide corridor turns into a balcony overlooking the garden. A corridor high up in the living room gives exciting view downstairs. Also on this floor is the master bedroom with a custom-made wardrobe wall/walk-in closet, an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, bathtub, toilet, bidet, and a double fixed sink. Back at the entrance again, we walk into the old farmhouse. Here is currently the large library that can also serve as a second living room. Here, too, there is a wood-burning stove. The old farmhouse windows are fitted with frosted etched glass sections/ modern shutters that slide away into the walls. Next to the library is a practical (auxiliary) kitchen with white goods arrangement. The custom-made countertops are also finished in French oak. Opposite is a 2nd guest wc with urinal and fixed washbasin. A little further on the ground floor there is a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, wc and fixed washbasin. Upstairs are a spacious landing with a storage room, two large bedrooms and a bathroom with walk-in shower, wc and a fixed washbasin. Back downstairs again, we now walk through a distinguished corridor into the left wing. Here is the studio space, which incidentally could also serve well as a bedroom or office space. A ramp/corridor leads to the music room. In terms of materials, this beautifully designed room can accommodate about 40 listeners. Its height and special diffused light make it a wonderful relaxation area that could be used in many other ways. The music room and studio space are also accessible via their own external doors. Outside: The garden flows into the polder landscape, so to speak. Playful elements such as a pond with small island, a fruit orchard, nut trees and fields of flowers and herbs give the open yet free/private experience appropriate to this special residence. Outbuilding: The outbuilding is a gazebo and has an enclosed garage/hobby/workshop area with an attic. In addition, there are two generous covered parking spaces with a power supply for electric charging of two cars. There is also a water tap here. General: The bluestone floors have underfloor heating. The Iroko wood floors, together with the bluestone floors, provide a logical connection between the old and new building parts. The sanitary fittings with taps were designed by Philippe Starck. At the back of the flower meadow, completely hidden from view, are 70 solar panels ( 21,680 Wp). Kitchen cabinets and fixed cupboards in the house are all made of French oak. The countertops are of honed Cesarstone composite. All plastered walls have an integrated picture hanging system. Led lighting inside and outside. Due to the current layout, in terms of space, a home office/business could easily be realised. You can inquire at the municipality of Druten about the possibilities for a home office. Automatic blinds on the south side. Luxury sockets/light switches. Alarm system. Security cameras. 3 Wired wifi points serving home automation and heat pumps. Two, Alcond Pro-R, heat pumps (2023). The heat pump also ensures that the large hot water tap water battery vessel always remains at the desired temperature. Features: Surface area of plot 14,247 m² Energy neutral, no energy costs. These beautiful surroundings lend themselves well to nature-oriented recreation. The rural atmosphere exuded by the Municipality of Druten is emphasised by the natural beauty around the dike and the forelands of the river Waal and the polder landscape behind. This untouched piece of nature attracts many hikers and cyclists. Despite the fact that Druten is now almost built up against Puiflijk, Puiflijk still manages to retain its pleasant village character.
