Its location on the Westeinderplassen lakes and the vast green polders of the Haarlemmermeer provide a good mix of nature and recreation. Rijsenhout has various amenities, such as a supermarket, bakery, primary school, childcare, and the renovated sports complex where you can play tennis, soccer, and paddle tennis. Rijsenhout is easily accessible. The NS train station in Hoofddorp is less than 10 minutes away by bus or car. In addition, Schiphol Airport and the A4 and A9 motorways are a short distance away. Sellers' comments When we stepped into this house, we knew immediately that it was right for us. The open-plan living space felt like home straight away—bright, spacious, and perfect for both everyday family life and cozy get-togethers and dinners with friends. In the summer, we enjoy the garden to the fullest, spending lots of time there barbecuing and entertaining family. We especially fell in love with the garden – a wonderfully peaceful place where you can enjoy the birds singing in the morning with a cup of coffee. Despite its central location, close to Schiphol Airport and the highways, it is remarkably quiet and private here. It really feels like our own little piece of paradise. One of our favorite places in the house is the ‘secret’ walk-in closet in the master bedroom – a little moment of happiness every day. With plenty of space for our child and pets, this is a really nice house for a young family. The neighborhood is also very special. There is a close-knit village community and the village hall organizes fun activities for young and old throughout the year. We also love the location close to the Westeinderplassen. You can even take the ferry to Aalsmeer – always a fun experience. Our son goes to school here and we enjoy being surrounded by other young families. Over the past four years, we have lovingly renovated the house and designed the garden to be low-maintenance. Now it is time for us to move back to the United Kingdom to be closer to our family. We will miss this house—the peace and quiet, the coziness, and above all, the memories we have made here. Disclaimer This information has been compiled by us with due care.
