Daalhof is a green residential neighborhood in the southwest of the Dutch city of Maastricht, the capital of the Dutch province of Limburg. Daalhof was built in the 1970s and 1980s and is considered a typical example of the urban planning concepts of that period, with a mixture of high-rise buildings in the greenery and single-family homes grouped around courtyards and residential areas. It is also one of the 44 official neighborhoods of the municipality of Maastricht. The Daalhof neighborhood, with stores within walking distance, is located in the southwest of the municipality of Maastricht and has about 6,500 inhabitants. The district is easily accessible by public transportation and conveniently located to exit roads towards freeways. There is also a good connection towards the center of Maastricht. The area is very child friendly and all facilities such as stores, schools and public transport are in the immediate vicinity.
