Description

What makes you want to live here? This house offers an generous space, a private parking spot on-site, and a great location. The backyard faces west, and on the side of the property there is a green strip with water. The home is within walking distance of the shopping center, a bus stop, and several schools. Thanks to its convenient location near the N201, you can quickly reach the A2 towards Amsterdam or Utrecht. The neighborhood is family-friendly and features multiple playgrounds. As the street only has local traffic, children can play outside safely. For leisure and recreation, the Vinkeveense Plassen, the Maricken nature reserve, and various restaurants are just a short distance away. What makes this house special? As soon as you step inside, you immediately notice the feeling of space and light. The hallway is wide, giving access to the study/playroom at the front, the toilet, and the living room with open kitchen. The garden is beautifully landscaped and features a solidly built shed with an adjacent covered terrace. Thanks to its orientation, you can enjoy the sun in the garden from the afternoon until late in the evening. The first floor includes a landing, two bedrooms at the front, a modernized bathroom with bathtub, washbasin, and walk-in shower, plus a separate toilet. At the rear, the spacious master bedroom with walk-in closet has been created. There is also a convenient storage cupboard on the landing. The second floor was added in 2021 and offers two generous (bed)rooms. The rear-facing bedroom is very spacious and equipped with a pantry and storage. The bathroom on this floor has a shower, toilet, and washbasin unit. At the front, there is another large (fifth!) bedroom. Currently, the washing machine and dryer are located in a designated closet on this floor, but they could also be connected on the ground floor or first floor (small bedroom), if preferred. A personal note from the owners: In 2014, we proudly became the second owners of this lovely home at Muijeveld. We immediately saw its potential, even though it was still in its original state. Before moving in, we lovingly modernized it with new cladding, insulation, and window frames on the first floor, as well as a full interior renovation. The biggest transformation took place in 2020 and was completed in 2021, the year our daughter was born. We added a full top floor, creating a huge amount of extra space. Soon after, we renovated the first floor—around the same time our son was born. My husband always seemed to get the urge to renovate during my pregnancies! What we’ve always valued most is the sense of space and flexibility. The generous hallway offered a warm welcome, and the many rooms and options gave our family the space to grow. Another big advantage is that none of the interior walls are load-bearing, meaning we could design the layout entirely to our wishes. That same openness extends outside, with a strong connection to the garden and open views from almost every room. We have been incredibly happy here. The location is ideal, with parking, schools, playgrounds, and shops just around the corner. Now we have the chance to realize a long-cherished dream: living by the water. It is with a little pain in our hearts that we say goodbye to this home, full of cherished memories. We hope the new owners will be just as happy here as we have been. Good to know: • Energy label B; • 12 solar panels installed; • Window frames freshly painted in 2025; • Heating and hot water via central heating boiler (2015); • Extra room on the ground floor can be used as a bedroom, study, or playroom; • Top floor includes a kitchen and bathroom, suitable for multiple purposes; • A versatile home that is truly worth a viewing!
