Unique location on Lake Lugano The chalet is situated at Camping International, a popular and well-maintained resort directly on the shores of Lake Lugano in northern Italy. The region is known for its mild climate, Mediterranean atmosphere and impressive mountain scenery. From the veranda you can enjoy stunning panoramic views over the lake, creating a true holiday feeling every day. Accessibility and transport The location is easily accessible by both car and public transport. By car, the campsite can be reached via the main Swiss and Italian motorways, including the A2 and A9. Public transport connections are excellent, with nearby bus stops and the Lugano railway station within short distance. Airports such as Milan Malpensa and Milan Linate are conveniently located for international travel. Tourism and surroundings Lake Lugano is a highly sought-after tourist destination, popular with both international and Dutch visitors. The surrounding area offers charming villages, lively promenades, restaurants, shops and cafés. Water sports such as swimming and boating are available directly at the campsite, while hiking and cycling routes through the mountains provide endless outdoor activities. These include a restaurant, shop, reception, swimming pool, beach area, marina, sanitary buildings and sports facilities such as tennis and football fields. The chalet and layout The chalet is equipped with air conditioning and features a luxury tiled built-in kitchen with complete kitchen inventory, microwave, coffee maker and Senseo. The living area includes an HD LED television with DVD player and satellite receiver with Dutch public and commercial channels. The master bedroom features a boxspring bed measuring 1.40 x 2.00 metres and two wardrobes. The second bedroom includes a single bed, a bunk bed and storage space. The tiled bathroom is fitted with a spacious shower cabin, with the flush system renewed in 2021. A baby camping bed is also available. Outdoor space and comfort The veranda is furnished with a dining table, corner bench and two comfortable chairs. A transparent plastic screen allows the veranda to be fully enclosed, making it pleasant to use during spring and autumn. From here you can enjoy unobstructed views over Lake Lugano. Two relaxing beach chairs are also included. Maintenance and improvements The chalet has been carefully maintained. In 2023 and 2024, new PVC flooring was installed in the veranda, living room and bedrooms. The boiler and double-door fridge-freezer were replaced in 2024, while the gas hob was renewed in 2025. The chalet was fully treated with protective stain in 2024 and 2025. Rental potential and delivery The chalet has been successfully rented out since 2008 and comes with an established customer base and website if desired.
