Our history dates back to 1972, when Huub van Leeuwen founded the agency. In 1987, Peter Burger joined, and BurgerVanLeeuwen Makelaars was born. Later, Ted Luijk became a partner, and in 2015, Mark Jonkman strengthened the sales team. In 2020, we embraced a new direction with a modern identity, resulting in BVL Makelaars – contemporary and forward-looking, while maintaining the trusted quality and service we are known for.

As of January 2025, Mark has taken over Peter’s shares. Peter will remain with the firm as an advisor, ensuring his extensive network and years of expertise continue to benefit our team and our clients. Looking to the future, we have expanded our team with Vera Braun, who is developing into a fully qualified estate agent, and Bo Kunst, who is responsible for property management and rentals. Together, we stand for energetic, innovative, and client-focused service.
