Selected candidates will be given the opportunity to view the apartment after the relevant documents have been received and approved.
How do I qualify for an apartment?
Interested parties can register. This can only be done via Funda through the contact page. You will then receive a registration form. Other requests will NOT be processed. Potential candidates can then, after being asked, submit the requested documents. You may be placed on the reserve list first. All interested parties will be informed of the outcome.
No correspondence can be entered into regarding the allocation procedure. All rights are reserved by the landlord.
Are there any other costs besides the monthly rent?
In addition to the monthly rent, you pay additional service costs as a tenant. The service costs are based on an advance and amount to €60 per month at the start. The final settlement takes place annually. This includes, for example, cleaning costs for the common areas of the apartment complex and maintenance/electricity of common systems. Furthermore, you pay €35 per month for PVC flooring.
You must arrange your own contracts for electricity and water (the apartments do not have gas) and, if desired, subscriptions for internet and/or television.
You also have to pay a deposit. This amounts to twice the basic monthly rent.
Is there an income requirement?
Yes, to be able to rent you need a fixed income, that is, an employment contract for an indefinite period or at least a declaration of intent from your employer, or you receive a (fixed) benefit. The landlord has set an income requirement of €3,300 net monthly income, including holiday pay and possibly the thirteenth month. Fixed costs such as alimony must be deducted.
It will be checked whether the stated income is correct and it will be checked in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Act (Wwft). Furthermore, a credit check will be carried out, all this only if you are offered a rental agreement.
Renting
To be eligible to rent in this complex, it is necessary for each potential tenant to submit a number of documents. To be eligible for an apartment after the first selection, you will receive an invitation from Estatum makelaardij to submit the following documents;
General:
– A valid ID
– Landlord's statement (if possible)
In employment or you receive a benefit/pension:
– Employer's statement
– Bank statements of the last three salary payments
– Three recent payslips
Upon retirement or receiving a benefit, we would like to receive an annual statement and a copy of the most recent three bank payments.
You do not need to email these documents to us, we will let you upload these documents via a secure environment.
