Shall we take a walk through?
We park the car on the property and enter the house through the front door. We step into the spacious entrance with a meter cupboard and wardrobe, with stairs leading to the first floor and access to the floating toilet with sink and urinal how convenient! The large hallway provides access through double French doors to the living room and dining room, which adjoins the open kitchen. The generous living room is to your right and features authentic details such as high ceilings, five large windows that allow an abundance of light, and, of course, a cozy wood stove. The walls and ceilings are smoothly finished, and there is a solid oak floor. Nothing beats curling up with a good book on a winter's day, comfortably on the couch, with the warmth of the crackling fire and the winter sun shining on your back.
Back in the hallway, to your left, is the separate kitchen, which is a must-have in a farmhouse. The U-shaped handmade kitchen has off-white fronts, a Belgian bluestone countertop, a rustic look, and built-in appliances, including a beautiful Boretti stove. In this spacious kitchen, you can prepare a fantastic meal for family and friends, enjoy long dinners, and share the day's stories over a cup of coffee at the large dining table. The kitchen has underfloor heating and a door that leads directly into the garden.
All the interior doors in the house are handmade from the wood of the “square” of the old farmhouse that once stood here, making this house unique!
