The new Tudor villas will be built in a beautiful location along the Hoofdweg in Hoofddorp. Most plots border a generous green strip with mature trees, while at the front you will find the water of the Hoofdvaart. A truly unique setting!
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD:
The project is located around the existing villa at Hoofdweg 875 in Hoofddorp. On the southern side, it borders Tudorgardens, an attractive new-build development created by the same developer and built in a similar architectural style. At the rear, the gardens adjoin a spacious municipal green area with mature trees, where birds are abundant in spring. At the front, the Hoofdvaart canal offers opportunities for boating or fishing right on your doorstep.
The homes are situated in a spacious and enclosed courtyard that radiates luxury and quality in every aspect a villa street. The courtyard itself is also thoughtfully designed, featuring a gently curved street with elegant paving and stylish street lighting. Most homes overlook a newly landscaped green area with trees, ideal for children to play safely within view and for neighbourhood gatherings such as an annual street BBQ. Carefully placed hedges along the private road complete the green and tranquil atmosphere.
THE HOMES:
These Tudor villas are characterized by spacious, high-quality homes with large gardens. Although all six villas share the same architectural style, each home is unique.
The villas offer generous living areas and impressive ceiling heights (approximately 11.5 to 12.5 meters). The finish is luxurious, as reflected in the generously equipped bathrooms with double washbasins, a bathtub, and a separate shower. The kitchen is not included, but all necessary connections for a kitchen with a cooking island are provided.
Each property includes a spacious garage (either detached or integrated into the house), and private driveways provide parking for multiple cars. Additionally, three visitor parking spaces will be created along the private road, exclusively for residents. Further public parking is available along the Hoofdweg.
SUSTAINABILITY:
The villas are built to very high sustainability standards. They are gas-free and equipped with numerous energy-saving features, including a heat recovery ventilation system (HRV), underfloor heating throughout, HR++ glazing, and high-quality insulation in walls, floors, and roofs.
The thatched roofs provide additional insulation compared to traditional tiled roofs. A standout feature is the use of a ground-source heat pump with an individual source (owned), rather than a less efficient air-source heat pump. This ensures higher efficiency and eliminates noise from outdoor units, enhancing the comfort and luxury experience in your garden.
DESIGN:
All homes are designed in a romantic English Tudor style. Renowned architect René van der Maten of MB Architecten has paid meticulous attention to every detail:
“A standard home is already rare in Tudorpark, but the homes in Tudorvilla’s are truly exceptional. The highly varied designs feature premium materials, including thatched roofs in different shapes and heights. Combined with traditionally built brick facades and dark wooden timber framing, the villas are visually stunning. The steep rooflines, characteristic of Tudor architecture, not only enhance the grandeur but also create a remarkable amount of additional space. The surrounding greenery and water complete the picture.”
CONTRACTOR:
The construction of the villas will be carried out by the renowned contractor Ouwehand Bouw from Katwijk. They have successfully completed several projects in the Tudor district, including Tudor Gardens Zuid, Tudor College, and the Fruitboerderij.
WONINGBORG CERTIFICATE:
All homes in the Tudorvilla’s development are delivered with a Woningborg certificate. This certificate protects you during construction against the consequences of a contractor’s bankruptcy and provides coverage for structural defects after completion.
