Description

In a beautiful location in the Northern Kievitsbuurt, within short sailing distance of the Scheendijk, this fantastic family holiday (recreation) house with boat shed is situated on a peninsula on a beautifully wide and very quiet part of one of the many tidal canals which this beautiful area is rich. This private (peninsula) has a spacious plot of 2,205 m2 of land and water, several terraces and jetties and also a very spacious boat shed. The island has two parts of garden where it is lovely to stay and where you can always find a spot in the sun but also fully enjoy your privacy by the presence of many "old" trees and plants. The island has an open connection to the Loosdrechtse plassen (+/- 8 minutes sailing) and because the pull hole here is nice and wide you have a free location with beautiful views over the water. The plot (the island) is about 55 metres long and 10 metres wide and has good shoring (renewed in 2015). On the "field" is a traditional and in terms of size very spacious Finnhouse recreation house with a separate boat shed. The recreation house was built in 1985 and has a solid pile foundation and insulated concrete floor and insulated roof. Due to the large size of the main house, you have a spacious living room with a cosy fireplace, a kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs and also a large void where you can also realise a sleeping place. The boat house can also be converted into a guest house which will create a lot of extra space for recreation, or the boat house will retain its function and you can store your boat inside in the summer and use the 2 ton hoist to perfectly and economically overwinter in the winter! The Northern Kievitsbuurt is characterised by tranquillity and recreation but, unlike the Southern Kievitsbuurt, it is accessible to everyone by motorboat. This recreational house is ideal for water lovers (sailing, surfing, supping, swimming, fishing, water skiing, wakeboarding etc) and people who love to enjoy nature. Layout: You approach the island with the included boat (Quicksilver) with outboard engine from the south side and there you moor directly to the terrace or in front of the boathouse. You enter the house through the wicket door in the kitchen. The kitchen is simple and old, but still functions well. There is a 4-burner electric cooker and a recently renewed fridge. Next to the kitchen is a small bedroom which now serves as an extra storage/utility room. Behind the kitchen is the bedroom and a bathroom which is equipped with a shower, sink and a toilet. The kitchen is connected to the living room through a playful breakfast bar/seating area. Directly adjacent is the living room which is equipped with many windows and a beautiful loft gives a sense of height and thus space experience. The living room also has direct access through a sliding door (which will have to be checked) to the terrace at the water's edge. A cozy fireplace provides lots of atmosphere in the evenings and when it gets chilly. Through a staircase you reach the loft / floor where a large space where extra sleep can be realized or just very nice as extra storage space. (The attic has two velux roof windows and two windows in the (east) gable. There is also an outside shed against the house where the electric boiler is placed and where you have lots of extra storage space. The boathouse: The boathouse is well founded on piles with a concrete ring foundation. On top of this is a wooden superstructure with a steel structure for the hoisting installation. About 2 tons can be lifted so that your boat can be stored here dry and frost-free. There is also plenty of extra storage space for garden tools etc. The boat house can also be converted into a guest house. In short, a top place in the middle of nature, a super fine family holiday home on the water on a beautiful lot with plenty of privacy!
