Overall good experience. My score would have been a ten if they didn’t over-promise on the expected sale price range. We ended up selling at the price other real estate agents estimated.
My first appointment was with Joshua Somogyi. He did the initial evaluation. He was very positive that the sale would end up between 330-350k. So he sent me an offer based on this estimate.
After reviewing other offers from other agents (which expected a sale at 325k). I decided to go with Amster Vastgoed despite their higher commission and fees.
Later, I got assigned Luna Hof. She was very clear in her communication from start to end. I noticed in our first call that she was surprised that Joshua made this higher estimate. She told me her estimate is 325k. So I concluded that Joshua just wanted to close a deal by over promising.
Moving forward with the sale process. Luna was fast to respond, and meet potential buyers. Even though the viewings happened during a very hot summer week, she was there with refreshments for the potential buyers and was able to get some of them to place their offers fast.
My disappointment was that she didn’t show up on the other 2 remaining days (we only had 3 viewing days). She sent someone else that seemed to me like a nice but inexperienced real estate agent. No offers came on his days. We ended up selling to the buyer who visited on Luna’s day.
So overall, communication is clear and we ended up selling at a reasonable price, but take the initial estimate with a big bucket of salt.
