Had vooraf weinig kennis. Ze hebben me goed geholpen. Nemen de tijd. Maken altijd tijd als je vragen hebt. Veel expertise bij bezichtigen, bieden etc. Zij doen het contact met andere partijen.

The communication with the office staff was great. Appointment arrangement and responses were fast. You get a search account with Copaan. Copaan has the houses few days before they are available in Funda public version, that brings a huge advantage in the hot housing market. Joris is a good person with positive vibe. On the less positive side, during the process we didn't feel the support we were expecting to receive. Preparation before viewing apartments was minimal. It was a brief whatsapp message, generally indicating only an initial expected price unless we specifically asked for details. We were expecting a more detailed information there. We also viewed quite some properties on our own, especially in the beginning. At the same time there was no negotiation strategy at all. When bidding for the apartment we eventually bought, we tried to ask if we could negotiate, since there didn't seem to be many people interested in the property, but Joris was not very in favor of that and didn’t try to negotiate. We are aware that the choice of what to bid is ultimately ours and it is our decision, but thinking about it afterwards, we feel like he didn't try the best for our interest and simply tried to play safe with no real strategy.

Some of the points mentioned in your review came as a surprise to me. If certain aspects, such as being present at viewings or receiving additional information beforehand were particularly important to you, I would have appreciated hearing this during our conversations in the process. That would have allowed us to anticipate your expectations and adjust accordingly. Our aim is always to attend as many viewings as possible. As discussed, you would also be visiting several properties independently. Prior to each viewing, we shared the expected selling price to assess whether the property aligned with your budget. In addition, we had several conversations in advance about the bidding strategy. In the case of a sale by tender, negotiations are unfortunately not possible, as this is inherent to that type of sales process. I regret that, in hindsight, your experience feels different.
